Oba (Ma) yawati and Blue Colour

History has been just written in USA where an African American has made to the white house. He has been able to paint majority of Americans with blue colour. Will we see the same happening in India where Mayawati and her blue colour will outplace all other colours? Similarities are striking ? However, I am not sure if Ms Mayawati has the same charisma and capablity of painting whole India in blue.

Muslim Prime Minister of India

Will India ever have a Muslim Prime Minister? This can certainly happen if there a clever, intelligent Muslim man/ woman who feels for India and the Indians. What is happening in USA, should be a lesson for minorities everywhere in the world. To some extent India has already shown to the world that being a minority does not come in the way to reach the top post. Sikhs a hardly constitute 2% of the population in India and we have a Sikh PM. Indians have no problem in accepting Mr. Advani as future PM, though Sindhis are in absolute minority in India. Will Indian Muslims rise to the occasion and project a leader who can rule Indian hearts and become not only the PM of India but address Muslim problems all over the world? I am sure this is possible.

Democracy: The right to oppose everything good?

World would be a highly messy place if all the nations on Earth are democratic. Messy democracies give birth of autocratic regimes. Democracies are like a pack of dogs that fight among themselves but unite against an intruder. We can see this happening in Europe now. Autocratic regimes help democracies unite. Strong USSR kept USA on her toes and helped her progress. Downfall of USSR also led to week American economy and her all round deterioration. Indian democracy is even worst. It takes a crisis for her to react. Endless debates, lack of accountability, vote politics all make democracy a sick institution. Messy democracies are the root cause for the existence of autocratic nations. Democratic nations harm each other more than the autocratic ones. May be the best government would be those who combine democracy and the autocracy is some optimum way. Let us come out of the illusion that in democracy everything is good and in autocracy everything is bad.

Emerging world order

Recent happenings in Georgia are an indication towards an emerging new world order. High time big powers stop using smaller nations as not only its going to misfire, but going to create many problems. Smaller nations tend to play big nations against each other to extract benefits from all sides. Its time that bigger nations join hands and learn how to deal with smaller nations and their dirty politics. This is happening all over the world starting from Georgia to Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and most of the countries in Middle East. It’s fine to have democracy in all the countries. However, democracy without responsible behavior is going to be more troublesome than dictatorship. In so called democracy an idiot can take the entire system to standstill. Look at deliberations in NSG to include India in International Nuclear Trade. Countries like New Zealand are spoiling the Indian game. The way international scene is unfolding, day is not too far when many existing institutions will loose their value. International cooperation might become a thing of past.

Bangalore and Ahmedabad bomb blasts: Dubai and Shanghai connection?

As we all know, serial bomb blasts have occurred in Bangalore and Ahmedabad. Live bombs have been discovered in Surat. Many views are under circulation in media. One view is that the terrorists plan is to hit Indian economy. Another one coming from Sushma Swaraj of BJP is a conspiracy by UPA government, which is totally absurd. If any political party has to benefit by vote polarization, it is BJP and not anyone else. I wonder if all these bomb blasts in our economic hubs have Dubai connection ? Most Muslim radicals have Pakistan connection via Dubai. Dubai has been one of strong Taliban supporters. Dubai is also developing economically very fast with lots of high profile real estate projects. Are Dubai real estate developers behind all this trouble in India ? We have to go deeper into the whole issue as to who all are likely to benefit from terrorist activities in India. Terrorism has multiple dimensions and can not be taken on face value. Its somewhat strange that not a single bomb got triggered in Surat.
Interestingly Japanese embassy also has been threatened and consequently it has closed its visa section. Are Chinese playing some games to keep India and Japan busy during Olympic games ? Let us not forget that Saudi Arabia and China are very good friends and Saudis have never dared to support terrorism in China. I have a feeling that Islamic militants might be just the tip of iceberg. There are many players involved in this game and all have different motives.

World Parliament

For many years I have been expressing my views to my friends on new world order. If not all, a very large number of modern day problems orginate outside national boundaries. Its very hard to protect our national interests if outsiders are not allowed to have stakes in them. Rigid national boundaries are the root cause of most international probelms. World community has to find ways to make them irrelevant. Not so long ago, though we had political boundaries, but were free to move around in search of work and education to any part of world. Sooner we move back to that system, better it would be for humanity. I would propose the following;

1. Establishment of world parliament with elected members from each country
2. Every national parliament should have at least 10% elected members from other countries.
3. At least 10% government jobs in every country should be filled from outside countries.
4. Governemnts should not restrict human movement from one place to another place, be it inside a country or outside.
